Digital forensic investigation in Malaysia
A digital forensic investigation preserves and examines electronic evidence in a way that keeps it reliable — so it can be reviewed by lawyers and, where needed, presented in court. Our digital forensics in Malaysia covers devices and accounts that you own or are authorised to examine.
Mobile device forensic examination
A mobile device forensic examination recovers and documents messages, photos, call logs and app data from a phone you own or have permission to examine — for example a company phone returned by an employee.
Computer forensic services
Our computer forensic services examine laptops, desktops, USB drives and email accounts for deleted files, data taken by a departing employee, or evidence of unauthorised access.
Digital evidence analysis
Digital evidence analysis turns raw data into a clear timeline: who did what, when and from which device or account — written in plain language for management and lawyers.
Electronic evidence investigation
An electronic evidence investigation preserves websites, social media posts, emails and chats properly — with dates, sources and a record of how they were captured — before they disappear.
Cyber investigation in Malaysia
When a business suffers a hacked email account, a fake invoice that diverted a payment, or leaked customer data, a cyber investigation finds out how it happened and what was affected.
Cyber fraud investigation
A cyber fraud investigation follows business email compromise, payment diversion and online scams, and prepares the evidence your bank, the police and CyberSecurity Malaysia need.
Cyber incident investigation
A cyber incident investigation establishes what happened and what was accessed, and gives practical steps to stop it happening again. Where deep technical incident response is needed, we coordinate with specialist partners.
Digital investigation consultant
Not sure whether your evidence is enough? A digital investigation consultant reviews what you have and advises on how to preserve it before anything is lost.
Digital private investigator and cyber investigator
A digital private investigator — also called a cyber investigator or cyber private investigator — combines field investigation with digital forensics: the person behind a fake account, a hacked email that diverted a payment, a leak traced to one laptop. Our digital investigation services are run by a licensed agency, so the computer work and the enquiries on the ground stay in one lawful plan.
Cyber crime private investigator — and when to go to the police
A cyber crime private investigator helps you preserve evidence and organise the facts; arrests, account freezes and data from telcos or platforms need the police. Report online fraud to the police and the National Scam Response Centre (997) — we prepare the file that makes that report stronger.
Private investigator digital forensics: what you receive
A forensic private investigator documents every step — what was examined, how it was copied, what it shows and what it does not — so the report can be reviewed by your lawyer and relied on later.
Digital forensics in Kuala Lumpur and the law
Our digital forensics work in Kuala Lumpur and across Malaysia follows the law: we never examine a device or account without the owner's or a legally authorised person's consent, and we never hack or install spyware. Admissibility of any evidence is decided by the court.

How it works
Secure the evidence
We advise you what not to touch, and preserve devices and accounts in a way that protects their value.
Examination
Data is examined and analysed for the questions that matter to your case.
Findings
Timelines, recovered items and observations explained in plain language.
Report
A report documented for legal review, with the chain of custody recorded.
What to prepare
- The device or account details (do not reset or 'clean' it)
- Who owns the device and who has used it
- What you are trying to find out
- Passwords you are authorised to share
The law and the limits
We only examine devices and accounts that you own or are legally authorised to examine. Recovery of deleted data depends on the device and how it was used, and cannot be guaranteed. Computer-generated evidence has specific rules under the Evidence Act 1950, so involve your lawyer early.
Digital Forensics — FAQ
Can you recover deleted WhatsApp messages?
Sometimes, from a phone you own, depending on the model, settings and backups. We tell you honestly what is possible after an initial look.
Can you check my spouse's or employee's phone?
Only if you own the device or have their consent or legal authority. We never access other people's devices or accounts unlawfully.
Are screenshots enough as evidence?
Screenshots help, but proper preservation of the original data is stronger. See our tip on preserving digital evidence.
